Living room depth created
The wall between this kitchen and living room was load-bearing. The steel beam, the drop ceiling recess, the recessed lighting and the full plaster skim were all part of the same job.
The result is a room that feels twice the size. The photography above is mid-build — the steel is in, the ceiling is formed, and the finish is about to begin.

Every structural project assessed and run personally
Structural work touches the part of the home everything else depends on. The propping, the steel specification, the correct order of operations — these decisions are made before the wall comes down.
JDM coordinates with structural engineers and building control where calculations are required, and manages the sequence so the homeowner doesn't have to navigate it alone.
